1. Luxury Tree House Cabin
A short walk to the Aska Trails and only 10 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge, this luxury farmhouse cabin is built in the trees. The large windows provide an epic view of the surrounding forest, and the front deck provides a peaceful place to sip your morning coffee. Equipped with a large soaking tub and cozy fireplace, this cabin is the perfect place for a romantic couple’s getaway. We had everything we needed including a washer and dryer, kitchen with basic cooking essentials, and even an outdoor grill. The hosts were phenomenal and provided detailed directions to the property and quickly responded via text if we had a question. In the listing, they do recommend a vehicle that is all wheel drive due to the steep gravel driveway of the cabin.
2. Bliss-Little Rustic Mountain Retreat
A cozy, mountaintop cabin built for two, this tiny cabin is close to all Blue Ridge has to offer. It does sit next to another rental property, so if you’re looking for a truly secluded stay, this one might not be for you. Our Mini-Guide to Blue Ridge, GA
Amicalola Falls State Park
This park has many hiking trails, but the moderate hike to the beautiful 729 foot Amicalola Falls is what its known for. You can hike to the viewing deck or all the way to the top of the falls. It is most crowded in the late mornings and early afternoons, so we’d recommend an early morning visit.
Preacher’s Rock
A bit of a drive, but the views at the end of the hike are so worth it. It is a 1.8 mile roundtrip hike to a large rock viewing area of the Blue Ridge mountains. Parking is limited. If you’d rather skip the hike, there is a pull off area directly across from the trailhead with a pretty view as well.
Aska Trails
Our cabin was right next to the Aska Adventure Area. The Aska Trails are 17 miles of trails for hiking or mountain biking.
Downtown Blue Ridge
The cutest little mountain town with plenty of dining and shopping options. There is a Blue Ridge mural on the left as you drive in that is perfect for photos.
The Sweet Shoppe
The owners were on the popular Food Network show “Cupcake Wars”, so they are obviously known for their cupcakes. However, they have many other sweet treats to choose from. Just look at that menu. We tried the macaroons, and they were SO good.
Enjoy your trip to beautiful Blue Ridge, Georgia!
