Located between Panama City and Destin, 30A is a beautiful 20 mile coastline. It is made up of a number of beach towns such as Alys Beach, Seaside, and Rosemary Beach. This part of Florida is one of the best weekend getaway destinations no matter when you visit.

Where to Stay
Luxury

Santa Rosa Beach A-Frame
We recently stayed in this newly built A-frame that is only a mile from the beach and comes with bikes! It can accommodate up to 6 guests.
Gulf Front and Ground Floor Condo
This is another great stay that has access to a private beach. This ground floor condo is steps from the beach and free beach service (two beach chairs and an umbrella) is included from March 1st to October 31st.
Gulf Front Blue Mountain Beach Luxe Condo
This recently remodeled condo can accommodate up to 6 guests and also has private beach access.
Coffee and Food Spots
After visiting 30A quite a few times, here are some of our favorite coffee shops and food spots.
Black Bear Bread Co.
Located in Santa Rosa Beach, this cute café serves amazing coffee and bakery items.
Beachy Bean Coffee Co.
Also located in Santa Rosa Beach, Beachy Bean Coffee Co. serves locally roasted organic coffee. Their outdoor seating area includes views of Eastern Lake and various outdoor games like cornhole, ping-pong, and giant Jenga.
What to Do
You could come to 30A, Florida and spend all your time relaxing on the beach taking in the sunshine and sea breeze. However, 30A has so much more to offer.
Public Beach Access
If your Airbnb or hotel does not have beach access, you can visit one of these public beaches. Each one has at least 30 or more parking spaces, but you might want to arrive early to secure a spot during peak season.

Biking
One of the best ways to explore 30A is by bike. The Timpoochee Trail is a 19-mile trail that connects most of 30A. Spend some time biking through the different beach towns, and don’t miss the brilliant white homes in Alys Beach (and their unique names) and stunning architecture in Rosemary Beach.
If you’re looking to rent bikes, there are several options.
Peddler’s Pavilion offers a number of different bike rental options ranging from $40-$50 per day and $70 per week. They even offer delivery.
30A Bike Rentals have several rental options starting at $25 for a 9 am to 5 pm rental or $30 for the day.
Bamboo Bicycle Company’s bike rentals start at $43 per day.
The Truman House, Seaside
If you’ve ever seen “The Truman Show”, don’t skip the beach town of Seaside. Here you can still see some of the filming locations from this popular film such as Truman’s house, the Seaside Post Office, and the Coleman Tower.
