Luxury Glamping near Zion National Park- Cave Lakes Canyon Ranch
Luxury Glamping near Zion National Park is an experience that can be found at Cave Lakes Canyon Ranch. In addition to a luxury accommodation, you’ll be surrounded by the natural beauty of red rock canyons and the peaceful sounds of nature. You’ll find it hard to leave.
Finding a unique stay near a national park can be difficult. Lodging in a national park requires booking far in advance due to availability, and a lot of other stays are an hour or more away from the park entrance. Cave Lakes Canyon Ranch is the perfect stay for a visit to Zion National Park and is a convenient distance away from some of Utah’s other national and state parks. While this resort feels private and secluded, it’s only about a 30 minute drive to the Zion National Park entrance.
When staying at Cave Lakes Canyon Ranch, you’ll be amazed by the natural beauty of desert landscapes. Whether you choose to stay in one of their cabin suites or glamping tents, you’ll be able to enjoy all the beautiful details and thoughtful touches this resort offers.
Canvas Cabin Suite
During our visit to Cave Lakes Canyon Ranch, we stayed in one of their canvas cabin suites. We stayed in the first cabin which had waterfront views, a patio with seating, and an outdoor firepit area. It was very cold during our visit (it even snowed), but the tent cabin had a heater and a wood pellet stove that kept us nice and warm. The cabin is well equipped with a Keurig, mini fridge, outlets, and a full bathroom. In addition to a shower, we also had a soaking tub which was so nice after a long day of hiking. We also had wi-fi at our cabin, as there is no cell reception at the resort.
Check in is at 4pm, and when we arrived, we had a welcome gift waiting for us along with information about the property. It is important to arrive before dark, as it is easier to navigate the resort for the first time during the day. After sunset, there is not much light and the road in can be confusing.
What to Bring
Cave Lakes Canyon Ranch has everything you need…almost. Here are some items we wish we would’ve brought along with us:
- Coffee Pods
Sugar and creamer are provided, but coffee pods for the Keurig are not.
- Snacks
There are two gas station convenience stores nearby, but both are closed around 8:30 pm. If you plan on staying at the park until sunset, this might be a problem.
- Games
We should have brought some card games for the snowy days.
Other than that, we were provided with everything else we needed!
On-Site Activities
During the day, you might hear a lot of people outside; that’s because Cave Lakes Canyon Ranch offers a number of on-site activities. In addition to cabin and tent stays, they also offer:
- UTV adventures
- Horseback Trail Rides
- Cold plunges
- Rapelling
