Teton Valley Resort
If you’ve read our other blog posts or follow us on Instagram, you know we love Airbnbs. Airbnbs have their pros and cons (discussed in an earlier post), but we would choose an Airbnb over a hotel almost every time. Finding a stay near Grand Teton National Park that was affordable and aesthetically pleasing was a bit of a challenge. We knew most of our time would be spent exploring the park, but we wanted a stay that was comfortable, inviting, and well equipped. Teton Valley Resort checked all the boxes.
Accommodations
Teton Valley Resort has lots of options when booking. Their largest cabin can accommodate up to 8 guests, and they have unique accommodations such as tipis and glamping tents. We stayed in their Teton Queen Cabin which had a kitchenette, cooking essentials, a Keurig (also an essential), fridge, microwave, and a cozy fireplace. Our cabin also had a front porch and little string lights that were always on when we returned at night from a full day of adventures.
Check-in
We booked our stay through Airbnb, so we had a contactless check-in. The resort messaged us with our site number and door code prior to arrival making for a quick and easy check-in. We were able to check-in at 4pm.
Amenities
Our trips tend to be a bit of a whirlwind adventure, so we don’t always get to take advantage of the resort amenities. However, it’s nice knowing that they’re there as an option. Teton Valley Resort has a pool and hot tub as well as an on-site restaurant and store. They also have fire pits, a playground, and pickle ball courts for guests to use.
Check-out
Check-out is at 11 am, and the best part was no extensive cleaning list! A lot of Airbnbs have a list of things to do before leaving, but this resort did not. We tidied up our cabin before leaving, and simply sent a message through Airbnb that we were heading out.
We loved our stay at Teton Valley Resort! It’s a great option for a trip to Grand Teton National Park.
