Tiny Cabin Near Mt. Rainier
While places to stay inside the national park are limited (and pricey), there are many amazing cabins to book on Airbnb. We found Little Owl Cabin’s Pika Cabin, a tiny cabin recently built in 2021. Located in Packwood, Washington, this stay is only 20 minutes away from the national park entrance. It only fits 2 guests, so it’s great for couples! It feels private and secluded while being a convenient drive away from restaurants and a grocery store.
Highlights
One of the main features of this tiny cabin near Mt. Rainier is the cedar hot tub. Imagine coming back after a full day of hiking and relaxing in the hot tub…the best way to end the day. While the cabin faces another cabin, there are privacy walls built around the hot tub to shield guests from view. Along with the cedar hot tub is a large fire pit for cooler days.

If you plan on cooking your own meals, there is a small grocery store just minutes away. We picked up some tacos from Packwood Brewing Company for dinner one night, and they were amazing! We highly recommend.
