When you pull up to the Carolina Treehouse, you won’t believe you’re so close to downtown Charlotte. The property is so private and secluded; you feel like you’re in the middle of the woods. We had a full itinerary for our Charlotte trip, however we only left twice-once for coffee and once for dessert (Villain’s bakery is amazing). Once you’re there, you won’t want to leave.
This beautifully designed treehouse stay has so much to offer. Floor to ceiling windows really showcase the view, and the kitchenette was perfect for cooking meals during our stay. The interior decor is stunning, but the outdoor space was our favorite. Not only does the treehouse have an expansive deck overlooking the pond (kayaks are provided too), but the treehouse also has a loft net and a swinging bed below. It even has an outdoor shower! You might spend more time outside than inside; we definitely did.
The hosts of the Carolina Treehouse truly thought of everything. A fire pit with firewood, kayaks, corn hole, fishing poles, board games, a record player and records are all provided for guests’ use. We spent our mornings drinking coffee by the fire, our afternoons kayaking around the pond, and our evenings playing games. While we were there to relax and unplug, the property does have wi-fi and great cell reception.
